Team Fundraisers

One of our YMCA members, James Reilly is doing a charity abseil off the Forth Rail Bridge on Sunday 21 October to raise money for the work of YMCA Edinburgh. Please show your support for James by sponsoring him to jump!

Why they need our service

All the money raised by James will go towards our work with young people in Edinburgh and East Lothian. We provide a range of youth work services for young people who are at risk of involvement in offending and antisocial behaviour. This includes streetwork, youth clubs, residential weekends, mentoring work and 1:1 support for pupils at risk of exclusion in 3 secondary schools.

Plan and expected results

James has been a member of the YMCA in Scotland for 30 years and would like to celebrate this milestone by raising £15 for each year of membership. He hope to raise £450 and only needs 45 friends and colleagues sponsoring him £10 each to reach his target. Of course if you would like to sponsor more then £10 then please do! You can be safe in the knowledge that every penny you give will go directly to work with young people in the local communities of Edinburgh & East Lothian.
