My name is Jamie Pallas and I'm the Communications and Project Officer at Gendered Intelligence.
This year I'm trying to raise some money to send 70 amazing young transgender people camping in the Essex countryside by doing the only thing I know how - baking cakes!
The Gendered Intelligence camping trip is a lifeline for trans youth who face bullying, isolation and misunderstanding in their everyday lives. It's a chance to enjoy the outdoors for a few days each year with the freedom to truly be themselves.
As well as baking for a bake sale at our HQ, I am also offering some home-baked goods in return for donations!
For a donation of £25 or above, you can choose one of the cakes/baked goods below. I will deliver the cake to your home or office, as long as you live or work in London.
Choose one of:
- Cinnamon and cardamom rolls (can be vegan)
- Pear, cardamom and orange cake
- Citrus polenta cake (gluten free, though made in a gluteny-environment)
- Vanilla layer cake
- Salted caramel brownies
