For my 2.6 challenge, I will be running 26.2 miles and cycling 26.2 miles over the course of 7 days (from 20 to 26 April) - all within my allotted 1 hour per day exercise session.
Funds will go to the New Cross Gate Trust. This fantastic local charity has suffered substantial losses to their usual income as a result of the lockdown period. The money raised will enable us to re-train a number of our members of staff in providing debt counselling to local residents.
This will serve two purposes. It will enable us to bring our staff back to work, even before our usual services are able to resume, and will ensure that we are able to offer a vital service to local people, many of whom have lost jobs over this period of time, or lost 20% of their salary through being furloughed, and are feeling anxious and stressed about how they are going to deal with their situation.
Please give generously. Thank you.

About The 2.6 Challenge
The 2.6 challenge has been set up to help save UK charities, in light of the cancellation of many fundraising events over the lockdown period and shut down of charity shops. For my 2.6 challenge, I will be running 26.2 miles AND cycling 26.2 miles over the course of the week from Monday 20th to Sunday 26 April.
