Walk beyond grief: I am one of the lucky few, when I experienced the loss of a loved one I had amazing support around me when I needed it the most, not everyone can say the same. Death when it comes, can turn your world upside down, life as you know it can come to a complete stop, some people have to deal with this alone and even those with family around them just don’t know where to begin. With the help of organisations like The Drop - in Bereavement Centre support guidance and help is always on hand. The Drop - in Bereavement Centre is a not for profit voluntary self help Organisation set up by a group of widows committed to helping families/individuals who have suffered bereavement providing them with support in coming to terms with the emotional difficulties often facing individuals, reaching out and making a real and sustained difference in the community. The centre provides information and practical guidance on issues surrounding bereavement through a number of services offered within the Centre which are openly accessible to the needs of the community at a time when it is most needed. The following services can be accessed from the Centre: • Counselling • Small Support Gropp • Drop in Coffee/Tea morning sessions • Complementary Therapy Treatments • Bereavement Through Art Workshop Therapy • NLP Life Skills Talks • Support filling DWP Bereavement Benefit Forms • Advocacy advice following the death of a spouse. Please give what you can to help them continue their amazing work. Thank you Jeredine
