On Sat 22nd July, Johanna and I will be throwing ourselves out of a plane at an of altitude of 13,000 feet 😨😫😨. Fortunately we will be both be strapped to someone who knows what they are doing.
We will be raising money for The Bridge Youth Project. The Bridge Youth Project is a registered schools work charity serving young people in primary and secondary schools across the Salisbury area, with a passion to bring Christian faith, hope and love to children and young people through mental health & wellbeing and spiritual development. Their works includes pastoral support, mentoring, 1-2-1 work, social skills programmes, lessons, self-awareness/esteem courses, prayer spaces, whole-day events, lunch clubs, collective worships and much more! With 12 paid members of staff and a number of amazing volunteers, the bridge relies heavily on donations to fund their work. School budgets are also incredibly stretched and yet the need is bigger than ever.
I am delighted to say that a supporter has already covered the cost of the skydive. Meaning that any money you give will go straight to The Bridge. I know that we are in the middle of a cost of living crisis but any support gratefully received. Thanks Jerry and Johanna 😜
