Team Fundraisers
On the 6th August I will be running the York 10K to raise money for York Knights Rugby Disability Team.
This is a team like no other the sportsmanship, teamwork, support for each other, passion & drive is incredible.
My son Oscar has finally found a team were he is accepted, feels part of a team & LOVES playing rugby.
York Knights provide the players with fantastic opportunities, one of the many highlights of the season- travelling to St James’s Park Newcastle where the team have the opportunity to be a big part of Magic Weekend, a huge professional rugby league event. Playing on the pitch at St James’s Park during half time of a professional rugby match was the highlight of the day!
EVERYBODY should have the opportunity to be able to enjoy sports, to feel comfortable and accepted for who they are.
