Why am I doing this?
Because suicide is preventable — and because small charities like Olly’s Future are doing the work that proves it.
On Saturday 6th September, I’m walking 17 miles across the South Downs as part of the Five Peaks Challenge, raising funds for Olly’s Future: a powerful suicide prevention charity founded in memory of Olly Hare.
Olly’s Future trains people to spot the signs, speak up, and step in. Their training is brave, practical and rooted in compassion. I've seen first hand - It saves lives.
I’ve recently started working alongside their team and have seen first-hand the heart, courage and ambition driving their work. They’re a small team with a big mission — and every pound makes a difference.
I’m walking for them and I’m walking for the people I’ve loved and lost. I’m walking for the ones who are still here, quietly struggling, to remind them the world is better with them in it.
If you’re able to support, thank you. Your donation will help Olly’s Future reach more people with training that truly saves lives. If you want to join us please sign up here: https://ollysfuture.org.uk/events/fivepeakschallenge/
