Jim Lewis died peacefully on 13th November at Arthur Rank House.
He was very appreciative of the care the Arthur Rank Hospice gave him, to the extent that in his last days he was insistent that he thanked every one of the staff personally.
He specifically requested that there be no flowers at his funeral. He said that in November they would soon be gone from the frost and that would be a waste of money. As an alternative, he asked that people donate to Arthur Rank so that they can continue to provide others with the same care that he had.
