We live in a world where, on the surface, things seem normal and relatively safe but dig a little deeper and there are people in strife all around us. The most obvious sign of this would be that homeless person that you walk past everyday on your way to work. Human trafficking is not something reserved for fiction, human beings are sold for money everyday, fuelling a black market worth nearly 100 billion pounds a year!
The aim of HERA is to try and prevent this black market by empowering vulnerable women and victims of human trafficking with grants for entrepreneurial training, development and support. This is a slow and time consuming process that takes money and dedication. Thankfully some of this money can be provided by generous and lovely folk like yourselves. The dedication part is provided by the charity workers on the front line helping victims of human trafficking.
If you feel like you can make a donation then please do, every penny counts!
