Jimmy is running the Bath Half Marathon this year for the charity Sporting Family Change. It is a charity which works children and families who often have had significant challenges in their lives. Underpinned with kindness, SFC aims to empower, nurture and provide hope and happiness to the families they work with through physical activity and mentoring.
Since his last half marathon - 25 years ago - Jimmy has decided to take on the challenge (bearing in mind he couldn't run a bath this time last year) with his metal hip in hand and sheer determination. Despite medical opinions, advising Jimmy that it may not be the best idea, in true Jimmy style, he's going to do it anyway. Please give generously to support our charity so SFC can continue to enrich the lives of local children and families and spread kindness throughout the community.
