Over the Whitsun Bank Holiday (27-30 May), I will be cycling from Bath to Paris in order to raise money for a fabulous local charity, Sporting Family Change.
SFC work with (amongst others) young people, domestic abuse victims, parent carers and also in schools to introduce physical activity and sports as a way of making life better and helping people cope with very challenging situations.
Their approach is to help the whole family, whether that be with short activity breaks to enable respite care, mentoring young adults towards a career in sport or giving children with disabilities the chance to gain social skills, confidence and self-belief from playing sport.
Please consider making a donation, no matter how small as it's all used for fabulous work.
The trip is self-funded so all donation money goes directly back to SFC to help people get as much out of sport and physical activities as I know so many of my friends have!
