I'm running the Virgin Sport British 10k on Sunday 9th July to raise money for The Kids Network, and I'm looking for your support. But there's a catch. You'll only donate if I can beat my personal best. It's No Win No Fee. So, if I can complete the race in 40 minutes or less then this timely and much-neeeded charity will get your hard earned money. If I fail then you get your money back and I live with the shame and regret and get training for next time. About The Kids Network Founded last year, The Kids Network is working across three London boroughs to connect young people with their even younger neighbours to support and strengthen London communities. Their pilot mentoring programme, supporting children between the ages of 8 and 11, is launching this summer in Islington. Inequality and loneliness is growing, and The Kids Network wants to reverse this trend and improve the opportunities to all Londeners despite background or circumstance. How fast is 40 minutes? It's really fast and hard to do (for me). It equates to about 6.5 minutes per mile. The last 10k I took part in I finished in just over 41 minutes so the pressure's on! Thanks for taking the time to visit this page and I hope you can donate.
