Joe's Skydive for Snowflake

I am going to be completing a tandem skydive in April 2017 to raise funds for Snowflake Night Shelter in Hastings and St. Leonards. I am paying all the costs for the skydive myself so every penny I am sponsored will be going to Snowflake. In order to complete the dive I need to lose 3.5 stone in weight, but I can't think of any better motivation than raising money for charity. UPDATE- 3.5 stone lost in 27 weeks- Skydive completed on 19th April- video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=re8i5pjO4E8 I volunteered for Snowflake Night Shelter for the first time last winter (2015/16). It was an amazing experience and I have since become a trustee of the charity. We provide warm, welcoming, secure overnight accommodation to our guests, who would normally be sleeping rough in Hastings and St. Leonards, throughout the coldest months of the year. Volunteering with Snowflake and now having the honour of helping to run this fantastic charity has meant so much to me. I used to despair about the growing numbers of homeless people, wondering what I could do to help. Snowflake gave me the opportunity to make a difference.
