I am raising funds for the Snowflake Winter Night Shelter, which provides accommodation, hot food, a warm welcome and hospitality. The Shelter also enables genuinely homeless folk in Hastings & St Leonards to contact the relevant autorities in a relaxed setting so as to arrange to 'move on' to their own accommodation.
I have long been 'afraid' of heights! However, my granddaughter, Megan, invited me to celebrate my 68th birthday on 22 July 2015 by joining her in a tandem slide on 'The Zip 2000 Experience - 2 Kilometres of Sheer Adrenaline (1.25 miles)' in Sun City, South Africa. See http://www.zip2000.com/ - apparently we will reach a speed of 125mph - eek!
