My dad has just been diagnosed with liver cancer 2 months ago. There was nothing worse than the look on my mums face when they were told it was terminal. He was started on a new treatment and thankfully he is responding well. We now have some hope...
With this in mind I would like to raise some money to donate to the Wokingham Cancer Care Trust. I have entered the London Triathlon on 3rd August. I have done triathlons before but this time i have moved up to the Olympic distance of 1.5km swim 40km bike and 10km run.
This charity provides grants for people in the Wokingham District who are suffering from Cancer or other life-threatening illnesses.
They can also help pay for other things including for example, transport to hospital, holiday costs, equipment hire, help with utility bill payments, child nursery fees, home nursing costs and many other similar things.
Please donate as much as you can small or large as every penny counts.
