John was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes last July. It has changed our lives forever and was a complete shock when we were told the news one Sunday morning as John was being given life saving treatment by the amazing staff at Whiston Hospital.
We were put in touch with Wish Cdg - a local charity for kids with Type 1. Their advice, support and activities have made this first year run so much more smoothly.
John is running in the 1k Fun Run at Sherdley Park on 24th September. We would appreciate any donation to this wonderful charity - no matter how small.
