My name is Jon Plows, and I was asked if I would like to help with a charity walk. As a parent of two boys on the spectrum, and knowing the difficulties they face, a small amount of my time and effort is worth the reward to help others on a larger scale.
I work with children on the spectrum and am currently at University reading Early years and Education, with the view to becoming a Senco. Along side this I have a therapy dog, which in conjunction with Pets as Therapy, I take to help those who may need her.
Hopefully I can raise money to educate and inform others about autism, and create a better understanding for those who don't know how it affects people.
