Having never stepped into a boxing ring in my life I have decided to sign up for Fight Club 11!
Fight club 11 is a white collar charity boxing event which will be held on Friday the 14th of November at the Vale Resort.
As part of signing up I will be undertaking 9 weeks of boxing training from seasoned professionals which includes sparring sessions with the other contenders in advance of a 3 round bout on the night.
While the event itself will be raising money for Bright Futures I have decided to also raise money for Service Leavers Wales. The charity supports service leavers that find themselves unemployed and suffering from financial hardship by providing assistance to find employment. The charity also runs an all Wales veterans centre which has accommodation rooms, activity rooms, private rooms for a one stop shop and much more for service leavers who find the transition to civvy life a challenge.
