Hello and welcome to my fundraising page.
I'm planning to sleep out in the (possibly) freezing November weather at the Shay stadium, Halifax in aid of Smartmove Calderdale, a local charity dedicated to providing assistance and shelter for the homeless. The sleep out will take place on the night of November 13th 2015.
I will be wearing my several layers plus long Johns, and sleeping in my bivvy bag plus a few blankets complete with silver lined sleeping mat - so should be warm enough to survive the night!.
Please donate whatever you can afford, even if it's a token amount every pound counts. Many people have lost their homes through family breakdown and/or loss of their jobs in no small part thanks to the wonderful job the current regime is doing in reducing assistance to the most vulnerable in our society, so charities like Smartmove really are the only hope these people have.
