In November 2024 I'm going to be undertaking a challenging 100km trek through the southern Moroccan Sahara, wild camping in the dunes and accompanied by camels.

For those that know me well, the words trek, Sahara and wild camping will tell you how hard this will be for me!

I'm pushing myself well and truly outside my comfort zone for a fabulous cause.

Faith in Families is a wonderful charity making a real difference to children and families facing many issues.  With Family Centres in Swansea and Brecon offering a range of services from childcare to lunch clubs, they inspire those they serve, and believe in them, to help them succeed.Established in 1999, Faith in Families has grown to encompass three community cwtch’s in the Swansea area. Each setting is based in deprived areas of Swansea, aiming to provide help and support to families within the community that need it most.  Since launching in 2024, the Cwtch Mawr project has supported over 86,000 beneficiaries, including 27,000 families in Swansea.  The charity has distributed more than 250,000 items to those in need.
