A friend of mine runs a great local charity (www.theriffraffsociety.org) they are unpaid volunteers that directly help local people experiencing tough times.I want to chip in and scare myself a little. I am very excited to announce I am going to be bailing out of an aircraft over Lancaster with some other local nutcases (I can say that now I am South Manchester resident) on March 13th as part of The Riff Raff Society's 'Team Nutbar'.
The charity has identified Ailisa Malcolm-Hutton as their beneficiary for this event. Alisa has the degenerative condition Motor Neurone Disease. The Society intends to handover cash to the family to spend as they please to improve Alisa's situation.
I would be very grateful for any sponsorship for this great cause. This charity is direct giving so every penny profit goes to Ailisa which is very different set up to most large charity organisations.
Please chip in and do something really positive for a local mum that I am told is a really brave and beautiful person.
