June 10k Challenge

Hi, my name is June Griffiths, I currently work for tui in Swansea, I am running the 10k on 16th September and have selected street football wales as my charity. this is the reason I am supporting the charity SFW MISSION Street Football Wales (SFW) is a social inclusion charity that exists to improve the lives & opportunities for socially excluded people in Wales SFW AIMS Street Football Wales tackles social exclusion through football. Street Football teams are made up of players who face social exclusion through homelessness, substance misuse, mental ill health or cultural issues. Players may have been long term unemployed or involved in the criminal justice system but all are facing daily barriers to be part of society and the communities in which they live.Street football Wales aims to contribute to ending homelessness and poverty by facilitating the integration of socially excluded people back into their community. We do this by supporting our clients to be healthier, more physically active and mentally well members of society.SFW provides a platform for people who are socially excluded, building on their confidence,self-esteem, health, fitness and providing social integration through football.
