On the 15th July I shall be embarking on my first half marathon. Myself and a friend will be running to raise money for Splitz.
In February 2017 my life changed 100%. My life was never to be the same again with my husband and children.
Splitz is an independent charity and leading provider of domestic abuse. Domestic abuse is not always visible on the outside, it lies within and damages an individual beyond realisation. Splitz supported and guided me through the early days of my journey, being a survivor not a victim of domestic abuse.
A year down the line and I’m the strongest I’ve ever been, I have no idea where the inner strength has come from and I was not aware that I could find this strength. My family and friends have been amazing as they have been battling through this as much as I have.
I’m running to raise money for a charity and I’m also running for my own recovery, please only donate what you can afford.
