Kallums Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge

My name is kallum and i have adhd. I also have a sensory processing disorder, a sleep disorder and I'm on the autistic spectrum. A couple of years ago my family and I were invited to do some family therapy to help make our lives easier. The autism angels farm did more than just make our lives easier, it completely changed our lives for the better. When we go to the farm we do lots of work with the horses and learn about their behaviours which are actually my behaviours. It took a long time to understand how this works but now I get it, I've really got it. Mum and dad have learnt lots too. The most amazing part of my journey is that when I 1st came to the farm I was taking lots of different medications for my adhd but about 6 months after we became a part of the autism angels family I stopped taking all my medication with mum and dad's support and it made me feel amazing. Since beginning our journey as a family I have done 2 six week mini mentoring programmes with mum and dad. We've also attended several family fun days with my sister's too. They love the farm too. We went to summer camp last year which was amazing we spent all weekend spending lots of time together as a family and with the horses and the autism angels team. I don't need to hide who I am at the farm and mum and dad are much more relaxed in a non judgemental place that's like home from home. My mum is always wanting to learn about herself and making things better for us all so she has done the foundation warrior programme and a parenting programme and she is going on to be an official volunteer. We love going to our safe haven that is autism angels but we can only keep going if generous people donate and sponsor us. The brutal 3 peaks will be a huge challenge for me but it will be worth it to raise money for autism angels as a huge thank you and so they can help other families like ours.
