Thank you for visiting my Local Giving page. My name is Katie Wolstenholme and in November 2016 I am taking part in a 400 km cycle challenge, cycling from Ho Cho Minh City in Vietnam to Ankgor Wat in Cambodia. I am cycling in memory of my Mum, Dot who sadly passed away in September 2014 and I'll be raising funds for CentrePeace, a local charity in Paignton, of which Mum was a founder trustee. CentrePeace is a drop in community support centre, where the volunteers work tirelessly to create a welcoming environment for local people to come together and/or find help if needed, whether it just be connecting people with local services and resources, a counselling service or crisis support for those in desperate need of emergency provisions (food & clothing). They also offer training courses and workshops covering a variety of basic skills. My trip is self funded so all the money raised will be going directly to CentrePeace and not covering the cost of my challenge. Any donation, large or small will be greatly appreciated as without these donations CentrePeace would be unable to continue to provide such a vital lifeline.
