Flamingo Chicks is an inclusive community giving all children, including disabled children and those with illnesses such as cancer, the opportunity to enjoy dance and explore movement alongside friends. They provide vital peer support network for parents and carers, intergenerational volunteering, global outreach and advocacy.
Flamingo Chicks have worked tirelessly throughout the last year to combat the isolation and loneliness felt by many children, young people and their families. They offer a range of support services but all have dance, movement, music and fun as the focus. Later this year, I will be engaging in a Makaton sign language taster session hosted by Flamingo Chicks.
As a thank you to Flamingo Chicks I have signed up for their May 100 challenge. On the 31 May I will be doing a sponsored hula hoop for 100 minutes. I don't expect to be able to move afterwards!
Please donate as the money is vital in supporting Flamingo Chicks' fantastic work.
(The sponsored hula hooping will be recorded should anyone want evidence of completion!)
you’re incredible 💕
Well done!
