Brighton half marathon for survivors network

Hello 💕
I'm going to be running Brighton half marathon on the 23rd Feb to raise money for Survivors network!
After going from being someone who couldn't run AT ALL (literally got a nosebleed the first time I tried to run 5k..) to someone who is capable of running a half marathon, I thought I should put my new found fitness to good use!

I took on this spot in the half last minute from an injured runner, so there's not long for me to fundraise. Any donations would be AMAZING and really appreciated no matter how small.

About Survivors network:
Survivors’ Network is the Rape Crisis Centre for Sussex. We support survivors of sexual violence and abuse through counselling, advocacy, peer support and groupwork as well as providing training for professionals. We are a small organisation covering the whole of Sussex, and our waiting lists, particularly for Counselling, are overwhelmed so any support we receive can make a huge difference. We understand that a healing journey starts with a small step and that it takes a lot of courage to seek help for the effects of sexual abuse. We hope, with the right support, that you can heal from your experiences.

 How your donations can help: 

• £5 will provide a bus ticket for a volunteer who gives up her time to support other women
• £15 will provide refreshments for one drop in group for women who have experienced sexual violence
• £200 will provide a course of safety and stabilisation sessions to enable a women to start her recovery journey
