Hi guys and welcome to our fundraising page!
Khan- "I've always wanted to do a skydive but never got round to it, until now, and what better cause to do it for than in honor of my Grandad who I sadly lost to prostrate cancer in July 2018. Me and my Grandad shared a very close bond and he was my best friend but while battling cancer he still felt like he could do with more support, perhaps from someone who had been through it before or just someone that would go with him to his radiotherapy sessions. This is what inspired his idea of a cancer buddy scheme. Sadly he passed away before he could make this idea a reality but thankfully my mum has taken the torch and created the charity, 'Als Pals'".
Mihail- "I'm terrified of heights so what better way to overcome them than jumping out of an aeroplane at 13,000 feet whilst raising money for an amazing cause. While I never met Khans Grandad, it became apparent to me how important he was in his life and how much of an amazing man he was. So it is a pleasure to face my fears and do this crazy challenge in honor of him".
