The RWF Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge 2018

Hey people,some of you may know us already. Chris and Kiki are walking (or possibly running some of (well Chris will... I won't)) the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge in support of The Reasons Why Foundation. The challenge is not an easy one, offering a distance of 38.6km to cover in 12 hours, with the added difficulty of a 1585m ascent. Keshia is the Volunteer Co-ordinator, who has also acquired a small caseload of her own as a part-time Caseworker at The Reasons Why Foundation (http://www.therwf.org). The people we support at The Reasons Why Foundation face difficult challenges every day and we see it as part of our journey, to challenge ourselves on a regular basis in order to raise funds and awareness of the services we provide and the people we support, many of whom have suffered the consequences of negative choices that they've made in their lives So, we are proud to be raising money and taking part in the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge as a member of The RWF Challenge Team 2018. The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, usually in this order. These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. We would love for you to help us raise our target and welcome every donation made, whatever its size. Our CEO has done a few fundraisers for The RWF now and this has helped us to realise the value of these events as the RWF simply couldn't continue its work without the support of generous people who understand that many people deserve another chance to learn to change. Updates will be coming to this page throughout our training running up to the 16th June, the travelling to the start and of course, the event itself.
