Kingston Foodbank seeks to ensure no one in our local community has to go hungry particularly in these challenging times. They need help to make this happen either through food, financial support, and/or volunteering.
We have set up a food box in the street for non-perishable foods; details of the location are on the WhatsApp and email group. The box will be emptied every day and food taken directly to the Foodbank. This webpage lists food they particularly need https://kingston.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/donate-food/ . The food is used to provide of parcels of 3+ days nutritionally balanced, tinned and dried food.
An alternative way to help is to give money which Kingston Foodbank uses to buy the food it most needs. As noted on their website “Big or small, every gift you give helps transform lives”.
It would be great if the street could meet the initial target of £200 – and please note that any donation is eligible for Gift Aid.
Thank you for any support you can give
