One of my best friends recently was in the Herald talking about her experience losing a baby. It was a horrendous time for both Charlette, Her partner Karl and their family.

I was so worried about Charlette's mental health afterwards and i was so happy when she requested counselling to help deal with Jax's Death as this is normally the hardest step. Charlette was provided counselling by Plymouth Pregnancy Crisis Care and it has helped her come to terms and deal with her loss. This support was invaluable to Charlette and would be to so many other women who have been through or are going through a similar situation.
It is not a very talked about topic- but it should be, to lose a baby, child, suffer a miscarriage is more common than people realize and the work this charity provides helps women to feel human again. to talk about their feelings in a safe environment.
I am running the Plymouth Half Marathon on April 17th in an estimated time of 1:50 to try and raise money and give something back to an organisation who were able to support Charlette in a way no one else could.
Any donation is gratefully received. please help me reach my £250 goal :)
thank you
