For the fourth year running, The Eden Project is hosting a Sleep Out event beside the Biomes. On Thursday 9th November 2017 I will be facing a cold November night with no home comforts, no tv, no fire, just myself, warm clothing and a cardboard mat to lie on and a ‘Sleep Out Bag’ to sleep in. The event will take place whatever the weather! For me this challenge is to show me the reality for some of the 83,000 young people who have to do this night after night The charity I am fundraising for is the local Cornish charity St Petroc’s Society St Petroc's exists to provide a diverse range of services for the single homeless, who, more often than not, fall outside the responsibility of statutory authorities. The Society provides accommodation, support, advice, training and resettlement services to single homeless people in Cornwall. Within resources available, they strive to provide the best quality of service possible. Their primary aim is to provide these services to people aged 16-65 years and for whom no provision is made within the community, either statutory or otherwise. If you would like to sponsor me for this event, it would be greatly appreciated and would mean a lot to the charity and the young people it supports as well.
