I am helping raise money by doing the abseil.The money raised will help pay for equipment in the new children’s ward currently being build at The Bradford Royal Infirmary. There is a commitment to raise a minimum of £40, this includes the £10 I have donated.
The Lord Mayor's appeal aims to raise £4,000 in aid of Bradford Hospitals Children's Charity and Spread a Smile which provides small grants for organisations and smaller groups across the Bradford district.
Come and watch! I will be abseiling down the side of the Margaret McMillan Tower, on Prince's Way, in Bradford (formerly the Central Library Building) on Saturday, April 16, between 10am and 4pm. My slot is 1-3pm
This will be my first abseil. It will be a personal challenge as the thought of it scares me to death! I want to face my fear by doing the abseil, and hope that it will help me overcome future obstacles.
