“The Salford Foodbank was there when we really needed it, it was an absolute lifeline.”
The Salford Foodbank is Trussell Trust foodbank providing emergency food for people in need. The foodbank helps thousands of families each year. More people have turned to the Salford Foodbank than ever during the current pandemic.
This money will be used exclusively to buy food to provide it to people in need when they don't have sufficient donations to meet the high demand. It is nutritionally balanced emergency food to support local people who are referred to the Foodbank in crisis. It's part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
Please give whatever you can to make sure being able to have a meal isn't a worry for people at this time of year.
