We are planning to build a separate leisure facilty which will double as a meeting, training and community space, with its own kitchen facilities, disability access and adapted toilets. Planning permission is currently being applied for and the building will be energy efficient - we intend to install PV panels, and rainwater harvesting, to reduce energy consumption and to provide irrigation for our land-based activities - pedigree Ryeland sheep and market gardening.

Eight people live at Keeper's Cottage near Ledbury and several more attend our day activity centre on the same site. There is very limited social and leisure space available and kitchen facilities are cramped. Herefordshire is a very rural county and access to affordable leisure facilities and good public transport is very limited. We want to provide affordable and accessible leisure in a secure and familiar location.
