SNOWLAND LESSONS
80% of children and young people are suffering reduced mental health due to Covid-19.
87% feel lonely & isolated.
Our Snowland Lessons project helps young people in the UK to cope better with mental health challenges and the frustrations of social restrictions & lockdowns. Snowland Lessons are specific to Covid-19. They model coping mechanisms accompanied by a film and are proven to help young people feel better about their lives and future, inspiring them to make the most of life even if it's limited. 100% of young people trialling the project have said they "help me feel better about my life". Snowland Lessons can be taught remotely or in school, individually or in groups. As well as improving mental health & resilience in young people, they include some requirements of the PSHE (Personal Social Health & Economic Education) curriculum. We need funding to deliver our Snowland Lessons project to inner city and BAME schools, so that we reach and support the most vulnerable young people in UK society.
