I've survived breast cancer twice and as a thank you to the support i have been getting at the Nenna Kind Cancer drop in Centre.
On the 3rd September i am holding a charity night at the George and dragon in Clay Cross. Fundraising includes a tombola, cake stall, auction, race night and find the bottle. We are also holding a buffet and have guest singer Martin Boyd.
Also i'm doing a sponsored Micro-Light flight in aid for this charity. I am terrified of heights and have only just finished my treatment but want to raise as much money to help support others. This charity is solely run by volunteers and donations, it was set up 7 years ago as the closest care centre was in Sheffield. The charity is in the memory of Helen Hind.
They have just bought a bus to take Cancer patients to Western Park Sheffield, currently they charge patients £5 each journey but from the 1st August they are trying to get the patients there for free through funding and donations.
Please donate as much or as little as possible.
Many Thanks
Linda Goodwin
