I'm taking part in Girlguiding Blairgowrie and Rattray District Centenary Distance Challenge to raise much needed funds to help provide their members with a new home.  The Guiding groups have been homeless for the last 4 years and really need their own facilities to help them make the most of their time in Guiding.  The new facility will also be available to the community including Beaver, Cubs and Scouts.

Now more than ever I feel it is important that these children can continue with their groups in a warm safe environment that is fit for purpose.  Youth groups are such an important offering giving the chance to meet, learn  and grow in skills and confidence.

The challenge is to virtually walk, swim, cycle, skateboard (whatever as long as not motorised transport) 130 miles between the 8 Guiding owned centres within Perth and Kinross, I have decided to walk this distance with my retired Guide Dog Blue.  Blue comes along to all our Rainbow and Brownie holidays and camps so it's only fitting that he takes part too.

Any donations would be gratefully received and hugely appreciated.  Thank you for your support Lisa & Blue
