Lisa, Carly & Gemma's Big Sleepout 2019 - Raising awareness of homelessness by sleeping out for the night in the Piece Hall, Halifax.
We all have reasons personal to ourselves for wanting to raise money for this amazing and worthwhile cause and would really appreciate your support in doing this.
You never know when your circumstances might change and any one of us could end up vulnerable and in need of help at any time in our lives.
People become homeless for all sorts of reasons but no one in this day and age should be left to starve and sleep out on the streets. Homelessness is not just about not having any money, mental health has a lot to answer for and we desperately need to raise awareness and improve the support and facilities available to those in need.
Please help us support this worthy cause as much as you can. It'll be cold and no doubt wet but we can do this!!

About The Big Calderdale Sleepout 2019
Wrap up and brave the cold winter night as you join us for our biggest annual event! Homelessness is an increasing problem across the UK and Calderdale is no different. This event will give you just a taste of what it's like to be street homeless. It cannot truly replicate what it is like to be scared, lonely and isolated, but it can help make a real difference through raising awareness of the issues affecting homeless people and raising much needed funds for Calderdale SmartMove, a local registered charity supporting homeless and vulnerable people across Calderdale. The Sleep Out will be held on Friday 11th October 2019 from 7pm until 6am the next day, at The Piece Hall, Halifax.
