Hi All
Thank you for visiting my page, I'm taking on a mud challenge for my local charity Home-Start South Wilts.
As some of you will know I am the chair of this charity but not all of you know why the charity means so much to me. I went through a very difficult time when my youngest was born and being new to area had no one to turn to and that's when my Health Visitor mentioned Home-Start and how they might be able to help.
I was matched to a wonderful volunteer who visited me each week and helped me realise that I am strong enough to cope and that the things I was experiencing were normal and that I am a good mum. I don't know what I would have done without the help of Home-Start South Wilts and thats the reason that I volunteer my time to be a trustee and now chair for them.
The work that our volunteers do is amazing but they can't do this work without funding.
I am taking part in a 10k mud run called Back to the Trenches, this is something I have never done before and is going to involve some challenging obstacles and a lot of mud but I've been told it's going to be lots of fun!!
If you can spare some pennies to sponsor me I would be very grateful and if you're planning on doing a mud run or any sort of run this year why not set up a fundraising page and raise a few pennies for Home-Start South Wiltshire as well xx

UPDATE: So yesterday I completed the Back 2 the Trenches 10k run and it was amazing (although the many hills were not amazing!) we crawled through mud, climbed over many obstacles, carried sandbags and dragged tyres and got throughly caked in mud. It was great fun and something that I have never done before so something else to tick off that bucket list. Thank you to everyone that donates it really does mean the world.
Why not take on your own challenge and fundraise for us as well, it could be any sporting event, climb a mountain or jump out of a plane.
