i'm a volunteer at Elsie's pay as you feel Cafe - Northampton's Real Junk Food Project, which saves food from going to waste. I volunteer usually in the kitchen, helping turn perfectly edible food into delicious meals which we serve in the Cafe. For Buy Nothing Fortnight, Elsies has been asking volunteers and customers if they would like to buy nothing for a fortnight, whilst being able to get all their food from Elsies storeroom. to raise money for loans we took out for expensive new ovens and for other everyday expenses like our weekly rent, updating kitchen equipment and utensils and paying for new aprons for volunteers. If anyone would like to sponsor me, any amount no matter how small, would be most gratefully received, thanku ! :)
