Lisa Stone Vitality Bath Half 12th March 2017

This local charity has got my attention so much, I've decided to run the 2017 Bath half marathon. I'm 45 years old and said I'd never run again!! However, there is poverty and disadvantage, in Bath, right here under our noses. Areas of Twerton and Whiteway are amongst some of the most disadvantaged in the UK and the young children being brought up in these circumstances are at risk of being badly affected. First Steps deserves our support because it works with many of the young children of Bath who are at risk of delayed development by those family circumstances and additional needs. It makes a difference enabling those children to get off to a better start at school, and in life. So please put your hands in your pockets and help me raise some much needed money - that's easier than running 13.2 miles! Lets help our local children to have a better life.
