We wish to run football sessions for children with learning disabilities called 'Little Kickers' based at The Rainbow Family Centre part of The Westminster Society for people with learning disabilities.The sessions are a very good way of helping the children move in a structured manner where they have fun. It also allows children to celebrate their achievements and become involved in exercise from an early age.

The sessions are very popular with both children and families who enjoy the sessions. It would be a great loss as it not only gives children access to exercise from an early age but also supports all children in their social development and interpersonal skills like sharing and turn taking as well as increasing their ability to concentrate.

It is one of our objectives to deliver these sessions to ensure the children can develop a healthy attitude towards physical activities. The sessions attracted many families from different backgrounds and the nursery supports these families already and we hope to continue to do so. The children will become more active.
