On Saturday 17 June 2017 Ben, Charlie and I will be taking part in the Eddystone Charity Pursuit.
We will be sailing in a Hawk 20 all the way to the Eddystone lighthouse and back (26miles to be exact) for Horizons Children Sailing Charity.
'Horizons' helps disadvantaged and disabled children from the inner city communities of Plymouth who struggle with social and practical skills.
We do this by providing fun and relaxed sailing sessions that improve self-confidence and physical skills.
Every year we run over 3,000 individual sessions involving hundreds of young people aged 8 to 19 – and everyone is welcome, the more the merrier!
Unfortunately all of this comes at a price and without vital grants and sponsorship, Horizons would not be able to operate.
