On Saturday 23 June 2018 Charley Reynolds and I (Lois) will be taking part in the Eddystone Charity Pursuit. This is a 26 mile sail to the Eddystone Lighthouse and back in a 20ft Hawk keelboat which can be seen in our picture. All the money that the boats raise will go to their chosen charities and naturally, our money will be going towards Horizons Children Sailing Charity. 'Horizons' helps disadvantaged and disabled children from the inner city communities of Plymouth by getting them sailing in a safe, relaxed and fun environment away from the troubles of home and school life. Every year we run about 3,000 individual sessions involving hundreds of young people aged 8 to 19 – and everyone is welcome!
