Teresa Sewell will be running the London Marathon 2013; I would like to raise money for the Elizabeth Coteman fund, which is a local charity supporting sufferers of pancreatic cancer, and their families, and which also helps to fund research into the disease. My husband's brother and sister have both died of pancreatic cancer within the last 9 months, so this is a cause which is very important to our family. I am running the London marathon to raise funds for this vital work.

40 years ago 3% of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer survived five years or more - that figure is still 3%! This disease is in much need for funding for both research and patient support - please help this cause

Any funding raised would be donated specifically to patients and their families to assist them in clinical trials and respite breaks
