Bath Half Marathon 2017 for First Steps Charity

This local charity works so hard and aims to give every child, no matter their background, the best possible start in life which I am a huge advocate of - so I've decided to run the 2017 Bath half marathon. I am not at all ready for this so a lot of training is needed!! However, since moving to Bath, it has come to my attention that there is a huge amount of poverty and disadvantage which is affecting young children. Some areas of Bath such as Twerton and Whiteway are amongst some of the most disadvantaged in the UK and the young children being brought up in these circumstances are at risk of being badly affected. First Steps deserves our support because it works with many of the young children of Bath who are at risk of delayed development by those family circumstances and additional needs. It makes a difference enabling those children to get off to a better start at school, and in life. So please help me raise some much needed money for these beautiful children's future! Thanks, Louise
