First Steps - Bath Half Marathon

Just over a year ago I started running, and with great support, and a lot of determination/ stubbornness, completed my first three half marathons. This year, on the 4 March, I am running in the Bath Half Marathon, raising money for a small charity local to Bath, called First Steps. First Steps aims to provide quality early years learning and care for young children and families in the hidden pockets of disadvantage in Bath. The money I raise will go towards opportunities such as trips, toys and resources and redeveloping the outdoor play area which desperately needs to be improved. First Steps have put in a new safety surface and are now fundraising for new equipment, to develop a music mound, water play area, bugs area, new trees, plants etc. As a Mum, I've seen the importance of early education and the opportunities that James and Harry have been able to access.
