I hate birds and they regularly haunt my nightmares. To face this fear I will be forcing myself to hold a bird of prey in the hope of no longer whimpering when a pigeon squares up to me.
I’m fundraising for CHIPS because breaking the cycle of violence needs communities that are resilient and connected. Please sponsor me to help grassroots projects that tackle conflict in its many manifestations, and to make my pain worthwhile.£40 could enable CHIPS youth workers to run an extra detached session with young people, connecting with those at risk of falling into gangs and other anti-social behaviour. £15 could buy a widow in Ghana a goat that would allow her to support her family and connect with other women in the community.Together, we can work to transform communities that are locked in a cycle of conflict.
