Thanks for visiting the Love Your Balls Walkers fundraising page. We're so pleased you've heard about our challenge and have taken the time to visit the site.
The Challenge! On 2nd May 2015, over 30 people mainly from O2, are attempting to walk 75km in 24 hours. That's approximately 46.5 miles. It's like walking from Leeds to Manchester in a day.
We're walking part of the Thames Path Walk from Whitchurch-on-Thames to Runnymede. Thankfully it doesn't have many hills but the distance will certainly put our legs to the test.

Although the I'm sure we will have some fun along the way, we're obviously not just doing it for fun.
The Mark Gorry foundation is a fantastic cause that was set up by Mark Gorry after he was diagnosed with Testicular cancer in 2008 aged just 23. Sadly, at 24, Mark fell asleep in November 2009 after battling testicular cancer for 12 months.
Check out their site here : www.themgf.co.uk
The team of people who 'work' for The MGF all do so voluntarily. They do this in their own time to help keep Marks dream alive and to help prevent others from going through what Mark went through.
If you're reading this we've already helped The Mark Gorry Foundation achieve a bit more awareness, but if you'd like to sponsor the team in the form of a donation to The Mark Gorry Foundation, we'd be more than grateful.
Thanks again for the visiting our site.
